Purchasers are a prime force for increasing the uptake of remanufactured and reused goods. However, we recognise that there is often a reluctance to buy for a number of reasons, technical and organisational:
Where can I buy?
What are the benefits, economic and material?
What questions should I ask of suppliers?
What is the lifetime cost of ownership?
The resources on this website are designed to enable purchasers to make a good decision when considering remanufactured goods.
Since we aim to connect various interests, we are interested to hear about your current purchasing needs and issues products that you would like us to investigate and issues in purchasing that might be common to others. With support, we may include them in the Centre work plan, or use to influence the public sector agenda. Please contact us
if you are interested in being involved in the debate.
