What is ReOpT?
ReOpT- the Remanufacturing Opportunity Tool – is a software tool based on a set of core issues affecting the decision-making process such as the nature of the product, customers, markets, customer support, environment and resources. Not only does ReOpT boast an interactive feedback mechanism dealing with each core issue, the software provides users with a final report for each product. ReOpT is modelled on extensive research carried out on remanufacturing in various sector groups from fast moving consumer goods to heavy machinery industries. It provides an easy screening of various products for a case for remanufacturing. This tool has been developed to help executives make a quick decision on the case for remanufacturing of their products. It is modelled on the extensive research and analysis carried out by the CRR on remanufacturing in various sector groups from fast-moving consumer goods to heavy machinery industries. It is based on a set of core issues affecting the decision-making process such as product, customers, markets, customer support, environment and resources.
Who is it for?
With an easy-to-use interface the tool is designed for senior-level management decision makers.
How can I use it?
The online version of the tool is available to registered users of the CRR for free of charge. If you are already registered please log in from the main navigation bar. If you are not registered, please register here.
Instructions
You need to be registered and logged in to use the tool. You can either start a new report or click below to view and amend previous ones. Use the 'save/next' button to save each set of answers and move to the next stage. You can go back and amend previous sets by clicking the links below the progress bar.
The tool has an interactive feedback mechanism after dealing with each core issue, an overall final report is also provided for each product at the end of each run.
