News: Launch of European Remanufacturing Council
The Conseil Européen de Remanufacture will be officially launched on the 27th January in Brussels.

The Conseil Européen de Remanufacture is going to be officially launched on the 27th January in Brussels. The Council aims to raise policy maker awareness and understanding of:
- the characteristics of the European remanufacturing sector,
- the issues it currently faces,
- and, its potential as an important component of the Circular Economy.
The Council will be an industry-led, subscription-based non-profit organisation based in Brussels, and is the output of the European Remanufacturing Network.
Keynote speeches will be given by Professor Walter Stahel, Circular Economy pioneer, and Dr Nancy Bocken, ERN partner.

Caterpillar Remanufacturing celebrates 35th anniversary
CAT Reman opened its doors in Corinth and Alcorn County in Mississippi, USA in 1982 with just 11 employees. 35 years on, there are over 1,300 men and women working at CAT Reman’s four sites there.
