Tuesday, 8th November 2016
The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC), an association representing all remanufacturing industry sectors, has launched its 1st Annual RIC Remanufacturing ACE Award. The award takes is name from RIC’s mission to "Advocate, Collaborate and Educate" on behalf of the all sectors of remanufacturing industry.
The three categories for the award are:
- Advocate: how the nominee promotes remanufacturing or sustainability in business, government, education or other field.
- Collaborate: how the nominee works with other companies, regulatory bodies, law makers, or others to promote remanufacturing and other sustainable practices.
- Educate: how the nominee demonstrates a passion toward educating others about the many benefits of remanufacturing.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to acknowledge the great work that remanufacturers are doing for the industry through the RIC Remanufacturing ACE Awards. Remanufacturing is a growing industry impacting the economy, jobs, and the environment,” says Bill Davies, Chairman of the Remanufacturing Industries Council.
The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) is the first remanufacturing sector association to collaborate with RIC in promoting the award, which was launched in October during the Big R / ReMaTec Remanufacturer of the Year Award reception.
