Caterpillar (CAT)'s maintains jobs in remanufacturing despite plans to close plants as part of on-going restructuring efforts.

Some remanufacturing work to move to Mississippi
The global manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial turbines and diesel-electric locomotives is reported to be planning to transfer some remanufacturing work currently being performed in Lafayette, Indiana, to the company's remanufacturing hub in Corinth, Mississipi.
It is reported that Caterpillar remanufacturing facilities in Mississippi are expected to add about 45 positions over the next few years as a result of continued global consolidation of its engine remanufacturing business."
