Tuesday, 30th June 2015
We very much enjoyed participating in - and catching up with old friends and making new ones at - World Remanufacturing Week in Amsterdam. The main event was the ever-growing ReMaTec Show, which drew in remanufacturing exhibitors from across the world. It kicked off on Sunday with the presentation of Remanufacturer of the Year Award 2015 to Søren Toft-Jensen, the founder and owner of Borg Automotive, one of Europe’s largest independent remanufacturers.

The International Conference on Remanufacturing took place on Monday and Tuesday targeted at the more academic end of the market. Seigo Robinson from the CRR was delighted to be able to present our Horizon 2020 project, the European Remanufacturing Network (ERN), there.
The World Remanufacturing Summit, focused more on practitioners, took place on Tuesday and Wednesday with fantastic speakers from industry. David Parker from the CRR presented on the need for collaboration to grow remanufacturing and on how the ERN will support this aim.
The event was also an great opportunity to meet and catch-up with people, share insights and spread the news about the ERN. We very much look forward to the next edition of ReMaTec!
