The report, released in December, follows an eight-month inquiry chaired by Rt Hon Caroline Spelman MP and Barry Sheeman MP. The report explores the following topics:
  • The state of remanufacturing
  • The potential for remanufacturing in the UK
  • Industries where remanufacturing is developed
  • Industries where remanufacturing in underdeveloped
  • Industries where remanufacturing might not be the best option
  • Business models for remanufacturing
  • Moving forwards
Throughout the report, publications from the CRR are referenced as well as our on-going research activities. The report refers to our upcoming work in the European Remanufacturing Network (Horizon2020), our recent research into the Scottish remanufacturing sector, and our participation in a Special Interest Group for remanufacturing.
