The Automechanika Shanghai is the largest international trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services. The Remanufacturing Pavilion will be endorsed by the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA). Bill Gager, president of APRA, stated, "The worldwide remanufacturing industry is growing rapidly. We welcome all remanufacturers and suppliers to exhibit in the Reman Pavilion to network together and address this emerging market in China and other parts of Asia. Opportunities for export abound in China, and Shanghais Automechanika is a great place to start making those business connections". As the most efficient and effective way to save natural resources, the remanufacturing industry stands ready to be a driving force in sustainable development as well as a major job creator because of the very labour intensive nature of this industry, according to the association. This winning combination puts the remanufacturing industry in a very good position to contribute to a better environment and to provide numerous other benefits to society, APRA says.
