Sean Spoors, General Manager, Nordic Recycling said: "We have found hiring vehicles to be an unreliable solution so we took the decision to operate our own fleet. We looked at buying new vehicles but didnt want that level of capital expenditure, so we investigated the second hand market place and RVS were recommended to us time and again". Nordic Recycling was first established in 1995 and is owned by Forth Ports Ltd, one of the UK's largest port operators. Nordic is a one-stop shop for all waste streams, providing a comprehensive range of waste collection, recycling and treatment services. The company also operates its own MRF based at Tilbury. It's customers include high profile blue chip companies from the industrial and commercial sector as well as public sector clients. RVS specialises in revitalising second hand dust-carts, stripping them down and replacing or repairing worn or defective parts to provide high quality as new vehicles that are fully serviced & inspected, and cost a fraction of the price of a new vehicle but offer the same operational longevity.
