The repair of electrical and electronic products has the potential to extend the life of products and use materials more efficiently. A range of barriers, including lack of easy access to repair services, are cited as the reason for not having products repaired. Increasing access to repair services is therefore essential. There are a range of repair models in operation, some of which are more suited to certain products, but all highlighting an opportunity for business.
