Participants from major industry groups and policymakers discussed the need for a European-level response to the threat from international competition on remanufacturing. In a separate event, Ben was part of a panel at the CIWM AGM meeting in London. His contribution was to discuss the ability of remanufacturing to help the UK reach zero waste. Ben also presented in Indonesia on remanufacturing to the 21 member economies from across the Pacific Rim. The focus of the talk was to provide delegates with information on the CRRs activities in Europe and also to call for closer cooperation to solve issues facing remanufacturers.
