News: Brussels - 'Business & Raw Materials' European Parliament Working Group Meeting
Nick Morley, Oakdene Hollins, will be a key-note speaker at the meeting on 15th May for a discussion on the link between resource efficiency, raw materials security and remanufacturing in Europe.

The meeting is being organised by the "Business & Raw Materials" Working Group of the European Parliament Intergroup on "Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development" at the European Parliament, Brussels. The high-level panel discussion will be chaired by Paul Rübig MEP. Nick Morley (Director of Sustainability of Oakdene Hollins, the parent company of the CRR) will speak on: The Contribution of Reuse and Remanufacturing to the Conservation of Raw Materials and to Green Growth. Nick will be joined by MEPs, the European Commission, the UN, mining multi-nationals and European Trade Associations for a panel discussion on: Boosting Resource-Efficiency: Maintaining Competitiveness and ensuring Green Growth in Europe. FER warns against engine reman fraud
The Federation of Engine Remanufacturers (FER) has asked the industry to be on the look-out for suspicious engine remanufacturers, after increased fraudulent activity and "sub-standard and unprofessional work".
