The results were encouraging with five out of the six projects increasing the amount of material they would normally collect for re-use. In addition, 45% of householders who recalled the communications went on to, or said they will, think about re-use when getting rid of unwanted items. All projects included a variety of communications activities including a leaflet drop to all households in the target area. Other communications included press releases, roadshows, posters, banners, online and social media activity. For more details, please go to the external weblink.
