News: Remanufacturing Summit 2012 a huge success
The CRR would like to congratulate the organisers of the Remanufacturing Summit 2012 for hosting an excellent conference to support the remanufacturing industry.

This event, held in September in Bayreuth (Germany, showcased the best of remanufacturing, bringing together industry and science. The event was attended by over 120 delegates from all over the globe including the UK, EU, USA, China, Japan and Australia. Adrian Chapman was in attendance from the CRR. Over the two days, forty presentations were given on a diverse set of themes. Topics ranged from high level views of remanufacturing around the world, to recent developments in remanufacturing, and technical discussions of remanufacturing processes. Adrian commented, "It was great to see such a mix of organisations and areas represented. It really helped catalyse discussions and added an extra dimension to the event". FER warns against engine reman fraud
The Federation of Engine Remanufacturers (FER) has asked the industry to be on the look-out for suspicious engine remanufacturers, after increased fraudulent activity and "sub-standard and unprofessional work".
