News: UK - Sustainable lightweight low cost battery systems for extended life cycles (EV-Lite)
The CRR are part of a large consortium for a Technology Strategy Board (TSB) funded research project which aims to enable mass market electric vehicle technology by reducing the mass of Li-ion battery packs.
Thursday, 13th September 2012
In order to achieve savings in cost and weight, the battery pack will be redesigned and a whole life planning approach will be adopted so that waste reduction can be achieved by designing the battery pack for disassembly and remanufacturing. The CRR are involved in the dissemination of this project and will be posting regular updates of the projects progress on the project website and by email to relevant stakeholders. If you are interested in this project please contact Josie Arendorf at email@example.com for further information.
