News: UK - Understanding the opportunities to increase re-use and repair
In a project conducted for WRAP, the CRR's parent company, Oakdene Hollins, undertook a comprehensive study of both consumer and business product repair.

The main repair routes for ten different electrical and electronic products including washing machines, mobile phones, vending machines and TVs were characterised. The study combined literature reviews, interviews with repair organisations and consumer focus groups. It identified drivers and barriers to increased repair, of which relative cost was the most important and examined promising business models of repair in more detail. The summary report will be publicly available within a few weeks.
