News: Local government is reducing costs with remanufacturing
Through funding from the North East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership, the CRR has analysed procurement of councils in the North East of England and identified several million pounds worth of savings through procuring remanufactured products.

The work focused on products that could be easily substituted for new. Based on this work, five products were identified: computers, printer cartridges, furniture, servers and automotive vehicle parts. For further details please contact Ben Walsh at firstname.lastname@example.org.

FER warns against engine reman fraud
The Federation of Engine Remanufacturers (FER) has asked the industry to be on the look-out for suspicious engine remanufacturers, after increased fraudulent activity and "sub-standard and unprofessional work".
