News: New ICT reuse standard
The CRR, through its parent company Oakdene Hollins, is being sponsored by WRAP to assist in the preparation of a standard tailored specifically for the reuse of ICT equipment, covering remanufacturing, refurbish, repair and reuse.
Monday, 13th December 2010
The work is being led by a group of ICT equipment manufacturers and will be published through BSI. The aim is to have a draft of the standard ready by March. In addition, WRAP is also providing funding for Oakdene Hollins to prepare a certification guide so that companies will be able to certify against the standard. The CRR intends to offer certification against this standard. If your organisation is involved in ICT equipment reuse and is interested in becoming a certified remanufacturing organisation, then please get in contact with Ben Walsh at firstname.lastname@example.org.
