News: USA - McDonnell Douglas wins $72 million contract to remanufacture AH-64A model from US Army
McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co was awarded on April 6 a $72 million contract.

This modification provides funding for the remanufacture of 24 AH-64A model into AH-64D model aircraft for the National Guard. Work is to be performed in Mesa, Ariz., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2013. One bid was solicited with one bid received.
FER warns against engine reman fraud
The Federation of Engine Remanufacturers (FER) has asked the industry to be on the look-out for suspicious engine remanufacturers, after increased fraudulent activity and "sub-standard and unprofessional work".
