News: USA - Caterpillar announces remanufacturing supply agreement with Eaton
Caterpillar Inc. announces that it recently reached an agreement with Eaton Corporation to have Eaton's heavy duty transmission remanufacturing business done by Caterpillar's Remanufacturing Division.

The agreement calls for Caterpillar to remanufacture Eaton heavy duty transmissions at its Summerville, South Carolina facility beginning in the third quarter 2009.† Caterpillar's Remanufacturing Division is comprised of 18 facilities located in the United States, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Caterpillar is one of the largest remanufacturers today, recycling more than 2 billion pounds of material annually. Caterpillar uses state-of-the-art remanufacturing technology to recycle used products, such as engines and transmissions, into like-new components. Eaton Corporation is a diversified power management company with 2008 sales of $15.4 billion.
Request for stakeholder engagement from the Wuppertal Institute
The Wuppertal Institute are looking for reuse and remanufacturing stakeholders to contribute to two projects analysing the barriers to reuse and remanufacturing in Europe.
CER to open SPARK Workshop on Circular Economy
