News: CRR News: Enhanced Capital Allowances
CRR has met with Defra, the Carbon Trust and HMRC to progress the idea that remanufactured products might be eligible under the ECA scheme.

In order to consider changing the scheme, Government would need convincing that: - Remanufacturing took place according to a stringent standard - There was no loss of efficiency in use with the remanufactured products - Remanufactured goods were expanding the market (i.e. competing against cheaper, less efficient products) rather than cannibalising sales of the identical new product.
Request for stakeholder engagement from the Wuppertal Institute
