The CRR's work with the British Standards Institute is bearing fruit. BSI will shortly release BS8887-2, which will contain an official definition of remanufacturing, for comment.

Creating standards for purchasers is key. Once standards are produced we aim to encourage purchasers specify the standard, increasing the competitive edge for high quality remanufacturers. The European Remanufacturing Council (CER) is open for business
The European Commission has asked for a coordinated voice from EU-28 remanufacturing businesses. The Conseil Européen de Remanufacture will represent small and large businesses from all remanufactured product sectors. Register your interest now!
European Remanufacturing Council launches with a nod to Hollywood
The newly-launched Conseil Européen de Remanufacture plans to represent companies which produce €30 billion of remanufactured products and employ 190,000 people across Europe.
