The CRR's work with the British Standards Institute is bearing fruit. BSI will shortly release BS8887-2, which will contain an official definition of remanufacturing, for comment.

Creating standards for purchasers is key. Once standards are produced we aim to encourage purchasers specify the standard, increasing the competitive edge for high quality remanufacturers. Are you in automotive remanufacturing or a purchaser of automotive parts? Are you a local garage or a multinational OEM? Contact us if you are aware of any nationally or internationally recognised automotive remanufacturing standards.
