Product Group Report: Remanufacture of vending machines
The market for vending machines is expected to increase in the near to medium term and most used vending machines are eminently remanufacturable
There is, however, a lack of awareness in the industry. The short term contracts that predominate result in large numbers of early returns and the industry performs a wash and brush-up on these units prior to reuse.
True remanufacture is limited to the chilling systems of the vending machines. Simplification and standardisaton of components by OEMs would increase the remanufacturability of vending machines.
