UK - Helping government buy remanufactured furniture
As part of our major collaborative project on furniture, CRR has been working with Defra to develop purchasing specifications.
At a meeting in Defra's Nobel House, we presented these findings to an invited audience of furniture manufacturers, remanufacturers and government purchasers.
Our recommendations are to include 5% remanufactured office furniture into every purchase central government makes. These recommendations have been included into a draft specification and will shortly be available for public comment.
